Excellent stay

Johanna welcomed us with tea and a fabulous fruit cake and scones … She was very warm and made us feel very at home. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with a choice of many items … I can without hesitation conclude that this was the best B&B we stayed in during our trip.” — Sharnez, TripAdvisor, June 2013

Highly recommended

I had the pleasure of staying at Garnish House four times. I was [studying part-time] at UCC and the highlight of our trips to Cork were sitting down to a Garnish breakfast. It never ever disappointed. They serve the nicest pancakes I have ever tasted. I would not stay anywhere else.” – Majella H, TripAdvisor, June 2013

Irish Hospital bar none!

We have just returned from a fabulous 3-night stay at Garnish House and would return again tomorrow! From the moment we walked in the door we were made welcome: tea, scones, cake and wonderful homemade fruit bread, all laid out and waiting – a lovely surprise. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of soft fluffy towels and comfy beds, allowing a peaceful night’s rest, after hectic days out. Breakfast? Not sure where to start – apart from, please make sure you are hungry, this is the best breakfast I have ever had, well cooked, good ingredients and beautifully presented. [Garnish] is only a ten minute walk from the main shopping area, with plenty of bars and pubs on the way should you feel the need for a pint of the Black Stuff. I would highly recommend the guesthouse: the hospitality, welcome and service is fantastic. – Izzy Hampshire, TripAdvisor, June 2013
